- Whisk the vanilla pudding mix and cold milk together in a bowl until completely smooth.
- Place the pudding in the refrigerator until it becomes very thick and fully set.
- Poke a small hole into the top center of each roll using a wooden skewer.
- Transfer the chilled custard into a piping bag and squeeze it gently inside each hollowed bread pocket.
- Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until simmering, then pour it over the chocolate chips.
- Whisk the warm chocolate mixture until perfectly glossy and spread it generously over the filled bread.
- Dust the wet chocolate topping lightly with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Allow the chocolate ganache to cool and thicken slightly before spreading it over the rolls so it sets perfectly without sliding off.
