  • 8 oz Cool Whip Or whipped topping, thawed
  • 3 tablespoon Yellow cake mix Dry mix, not prepared
  • ¼ cup Christmas sprinkles Red, green, and white
  • 2 tablespoon Mini chocolate chips Optional topping
  • 1 pinch Salt Enhances sweetness
  • Christmas cookies For serving and dipping

Method
 

  1. Beat softened cream cheese and butter with electric mixer on medium speed until completely smooth and fluffy, 2 to 3 minutes

  3. Mix in vanilla extract, almond extract, salt, and dry yellow cake mix until completely combined
  4. Gently fold Cool Whip into mixture using rubber spatula with gentle folding motion until no white streaks remain
  5. Spoon finished dip into serving bowl and smooth top with spatula
  6. Generously sprinkle Christmas colored sprinkles and mini chocolate chips across entire top surface
