Method

  4. Pre-bake bottom layer 8-10 minutes until lightly golden
  5. Beat softened cream cheese until smooth and fluffy
  6. Add ¼ cup sugar, egg, vanilla, and pinch of salt to cream cheese
  7. Mix until perfectly smooth with no lumps remaining
  8. Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over pre-baked base
  9. Unroll second tube of crescent rolls, place over filling layer
  10. Seal edges and brush top generously with remaining melted butter
  11. Mix remaining sugar with cinnamon, sprinkle over buttered top
  12. Bake 25-30 minutes until top is golden brown and filling is set
  13. Let cool completely before cutting to allow layers to set
  14. Dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with honey before serving
  15. Cut into squares and serve at room temperature
