  • 2 sheets Frozen puff pastry Thawed according to package
  • ½ cup Unsalted butter Softened to room temperature
  • 4 cloves Fresh garlic Minced fine
  • ¼ cup Fresh parsley Chopped
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese Freshly grated
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese Shredded
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic powder For extra flavor depth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning Dried herb blend
  • ½ teaspoon Salt Or to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper Freshly cracked
  • 1 large Egg Beaten for wash

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease muffin tin cups with oil or butter
  2. Mix softened butter with garlic, parsley, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper
  3. Roll thawed puff pastry into large rectangle on floured surface
  4. Spread garlic herb butter evenly across pastry surface
  5. Sprinkle both parmesan and mozzarella cheeses over butter layer
  6. Starting from long edge, roll pastry tightly into log shape
  7. Cut log into 12 equal pieces with sharp knife
  8. Put each spiral piece cut side up in greased muffin cups
  9. Brush tops with beaten egg for golden color
  10. Bake 18 to 22 minutes until golden brown and cheese bubbles
  11. Heat cream and butter for glaze, drizzle over warm cruffins
  12. Let cool slightly in pan before removing and serving
